Well, here we are in Scotland. This is the North British hotel (now the Balmoral Hotel) where we stayed. We had two different rooms. The first room overlooked the Locke where the Sir Walter Scott monument in Princes Garden Pard is located. The second room came about because we were just around the corner from the ballroom, and a high school graduation dance had been booked there. We would not put up with that kind of noise until 3:00 A.M. We were moved at 11:00 P.M. to the furtherest corner on the top most floor, looking toward the Royal Mile (High Street). Great room. Better room than the first.
This is the Locke and train tracks, looking out our first room window. Edinburhg Castle is on the top of the hill. These tracks are along side the Princes Garden Park.
