The tour of this part of Northern Ireland was compliments of the Bureau Of Education, Northern Ireland. They were expecting maybe 10 to 15 teachers. What they got was 120 of us. It was a blast. They must have told the IRA to lay low, because these tourists were bringing "Green" to the Emerald Isle! We had teachers from Jamaica, France, Germany, Belgium, U.S., and even Africa.
We had always wondered why the sky in the Paintings of the UK were always painted so low. We found out. They are actually LOW.
This is the church built on the site supposedly used by St. Patrick when he first landed in Ireland. This church is located outside of Saul, Ireland.
