In the early hours of the morning Regal Princess made landfall for the final time of Cruise G210A of the western coast of America. Once we had navigated through the main traffic lanes, we embarked our local pilot. He assisted in the navigation through the inner separation scheme, under the Golden Gate Bridge between Marin Peninsular and San Francisco. An easterly heading was then set, passing to the south of the island of Alcatraz. By 7:00 A.M. Regal Princess was 'all fast' alongside Pier No 35 for her final port of call.
